Rates
Our rates vary depending on the complexity of the item(s) to be drawn.
While patent drawings for simple block diagrams such as electrical or circuitry drawings will be in the $40-$55/sht (8.5"x11") range, more complex mechanical and assembly patent drawings can range from $55-$100/sht (8.5"x11").

Drawing flow - Start to finish
Most patent drawings begin with a 3D model of the item to be patented. This allows the item to be rotated around all axis in order to see the best perspective in which to show a particular attribute. From this model, the required two dimensional drawings are extracted and numbered (for utility patents). The drawings are then converted into Adobe pdf files and sent to the Patent Attorney and/or Inventor for review before being submitted to the USPTO (United States Patent andTrademark Office).
