We have over 20 years experience in the fields of steel detailing and metal fabrication drawings, we are a solid and reliable source for Engineers and fabricators. With state of the art 3D modeling software, we can detail the most complicated structure with extreme accuracy. This accuracy ensures installing contractors can spend their time erecting structures, not fixing costly mistakes.
With a Bachelors degree Mechanical Engineering Technology and over 25 yrs of drafting and work experience in the Mechanical Engineering fields of process and systems design, steel detailing and Engineering, we can help make your ideas and designs become a reality.

Patent Illustration
We have been in the business of patent and trademark illustrating for over 16 years. Hundreds of illustrations have been filed with the USPTO.
DT Design has drawn patent illustrations for both domestic and international patent applications for medical devices, automotive products, sporting goods, computer devices, electrical schematics, pet and animal care products, telecommunications and household products just to name a few.

Drawing tools
AutoCAD® is the primary drawing tool used for creating the steel and fabrication drawings as well as patent illustrations. The files are typically converted to an Adobe PDF format for submittal, but we can convert to a variety of other formats if required.
We also offer 3D modeling using "Rhinoceros"® modeling software should you have a need for a realistic looking computer model of an invention. Not only are 3D models the perfect way to develop a product, but they are also a great way to show off a product in brochures for marketing purposes! Animation of 3-D objects is also available.
